I miss the Old Monica

Sorry guys...I just have to take a sec to vent with you guys.

I was in the car the otherday with my friend and she was playing this old mix cd and as we were driving i heard this song come in and vocals that said "da da da da da duh da da duuuuuuh duhhhh ohhhhhhhhhh yea yea" and i was so freaking happy i was like its monica then I came to a sudden realization I was like she is really not the same at all. I mean i know she has kids and all and even a husband and had a lover take his own in front of her but how long is this phase going to last....Not that i have anything agaisnt Mo for being who she is now but she is really not that girl anymore she dosent seem like she is too concerned about her image at all and dont get me wrong I am diging this rockers look but can we please go back to the long black hair and the way it used to be. I want her back on top and taking control of her career!!


I could go on and on but i wont!!!

I guess i'mma have to disagree with you sorry i like the rocker edgey look.I think it is good to change with the time if you ask me.

naw the old monica during the boy is mine wasnt the real monica, look how much she changed after the miss thang cd, she seemed more how do i say this with offending anyone, she seemed more white, and that just wasnt her i love monica and its not a new monica its still mo she's just grown now we all grow up and change

to me monica is still the seem old monica she has just grown up and takin' over her own life instead of lettin' the label and ppl. around her tell her how she should live her life. and i really like the rocker type style monica's got...i mean change is good and at least she ain't falling into the same ol' fabs as everyone else. i like the fact monica keeps it real and pretty much does things the way she wants and doesn't have anyone influence her style or personality. and monica's work ethic has decreased some but when you got family to tend to the is totally understandable...we as fans may not like it but if we was in her position we would tend to are family's first as well.
